Dear Students,
We invite you to enroll yourself to our B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Courses under the Al-Ameen Memorial Minority College (B.Ed), Hatpara, Joynagar (Baruipur Sub Division), South 24 Parganas, as and when notices for enrollment.

If you ask my opinion as to why you should prefer this institution, I can point out a few things that you may accept from the core of your heart.

The first and foremost thing is that this Minority College has been established with the intention of serving the Minority students but not to the exclusion of students belonging to other communities, with twin objects – that such minorities shall preserve their religion and culture and shall be a part and parcel of the main stream of education at one and the same time. You, as minority students, are most welcome if you have in your minds these aspects while preferring this institution. And as regards the second object, the non-minority students are also most welcome for the construction of fraternity in the college for inclusion of minorities to the main stream of education.

The second thing is, the founder-father of the college, Late Prof. Al-haj Md. Roushan Ali dreamt of making it a premiere institution of higher learning in our state of West Bengal. We have before us the glaring examples of such institutions like the St. Xavier’s College and the Ramakrishna Missions. In order to be at par with such institutions we too like them must maintain mutual trust among the college authority and the students. A trust which is reciprocal Like them we must be extremely protective of our system. Thus we must maintain a strict sense of honor and respect for the trust and the system. If you are committed to this mutual trust and the system, you are most welcome.

The third thing is, Dedication for quality development from both ends – from the end of the students as well as of the teachers is most important. Here I assure you that we have a number of committed, devoted, disciplined and dedicated teachers to lead you to the right path and let you achieve your goal.

The fourth thing is, Discipline in an academic institution rather in every spheres of life is the very key to success. The premiere institutions like the St. Xavier’s College and the Ramakrishna Missions in order to control indiscipline that creeps in mainly through political activities with ulterior motives withstand themselves from all sorts of provocations and interventions from inside and outside. With the same aim our college is from the beginning free from all political provocations with ulterior motives. I would request you to give special emphasis to this aspect as one of the reasons for choosing this institution. At the same time, you should know that it is your divine duty to protect this institution from such provocations during the period of your studentship in the college.

The most important thing to which I would draw your attention for which I think you should choose this college, is that it aspires to lit the light in you to reach to the sum-mum bo-num of life which is to create union among the urge of life, knowledge, work and love that will ultimately bind yourself to yourself, to one another and to God:

“And I say that life is indeed darkness save when there is urge, And all urge is blind save when there is knowledge. And all knowledge is vain save when there is work, And all work is empty save when there is love; And when you work with love you bind yourself to yourself, and to one another, and to God.”
